In Virginia, thousands of people who work cannot afford the cost of medical care. Lackey Clinic is a faith-based nonprofit providing free and charitable healthcare to uninsured adults in Virginia. The Clinic’s patients are the working class usually earning between $12-$25 an hour who earn too much to qualify for Virginia Medicaid but not enough to afford quality health insurance. The Clinic offers free medical care, low-cost dental care, eye care, virtual care, free and low-cost prescriptions, behavioral health services, connected care, and spiritual care.

Chronic conditions and common illnesses brand-name medications can often be ordered through patient assistance programs at no cost to the patient. For generic, formulary medications filled through our pharmacy there is a $4 fee for up to a 30-day supply or a $10 fee for a 90-day supply. The fee is due at the time of medication pick-up.
