Start a visit anytime by interacting with an online program, which based on your answers asks follow-up questions specific to your symptoms. This helps us better understand what you are experiencing. (Note: You will need a valid email address.)
Next, one of our licensed providers will review your symptoms, and either make a diagnosis and treatment plan or ask for more information. You can expect a response within 4 hours during our Lackey Virtual Care operating hours (Monday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
If a prescription is given, you will be able to choose the pharmacy where you would like your prescription sent. Note: Lackey Virtual Care cannot provide prescriptions for controlled substances.
Lackey Virtual Care is a 24/7 online diagnosis and treatment service to help those with common medical conditions.
Instead of trying to book an appointment that works with both your busy schedule and your doctor’s office, Lackey Virtual Care gives you the power to start the process whenever YOU want to and gives you DIRECT ACCESS to your provider.
It is powered by our partnership with Fabric Health, the owners of the platform.
No appointment needed! You can start your online visit at anytime from anywhere in Virginia.
Online visits are normally $25, but they are free for a limited time through the generosity of our Lackey Clinic Family. Thanks to the support of our donors to cover our costs, we are able to provide you with quality care that also saves you time and money. At Lackey Clinic, our mission is “to provide skilled, compassionate healthcare and counseling to the medically disadvantaged in a manner that honors the name of Jesus Christ.” We want to expand the impact of our mission by providing better healthcare access for more people and hopefully improving their health outcomes!
This service is available to BOTH our current patients at the Clinic and people who are not our patients. You do not have to be a patient at Lackey Clinic to use this service, however, if you are interested in becoming a patient, we would love to have you apply! There are two other ways you can become a patient at Lackey Clinic.
Lackey Clinic addresses numerous common ailments such as cold, sinus infections, flu, and urinary tract infections (UTIs). They also provide care for conditions like pink eye and vaginal yeast infections, ensuring patients can receive timely diagnosis and treatment without needing to visit a physical clinic.
The clinic offers specialized care for respiratory conditions, including COVID-19. They provide evaluation and treatment for patients aged 2 to 75 years old. Additionally, they offer preventative medication for flu exposure and whooping cough, available for children as young as one year old. Their service includes treatment options for those who have been exposed to COVID-19 or have tested positive for the virus.
Lackey Clinic’s virtual care extends to various eye, ear, and mouth conditions, such as canker sores, cold sores, styes, and swimmer’s ear. For general health issues, the clinic offers treatment for heartburn, heel pain, low back pain, mastitis, and prediabetes screening. They also assist with smoking cessation through nicotine replacement therapy.
Patients can seek virtual consultations for various skin, hair, and nail conditions. These include acne, rosacea, eczema, athlete’s foot, and male pattern baldness. The clinic also offers care for insect bites, minor burns, shingles, and skin irritations like contact dermatitis. For those with nail conditions or fungal infections like ringworm, Lackey Clinic provides targeted treatments.
For sexual health concerns, the clinic offers services such as treatment for chlamydia exposure and medication refills for genital herpes. Women can receive treatment for vaginal yeast infections, while men can access care for male pattern baldness. Additionally, Lackey Clinic offers short-term medication refills for conditions like asthma, migraines, and EpiPen refills for severe allergic reactions.
Lackey Clinic supports travelers with services to prevent altitude sickness, malaria, and motion sickness. They also offer tuberculosis screening and provide a comprehensive travel health kit, ensuring patients are prepared for international travel and potential health issues they may encounter.
While Lackey Clinic offers a broad range of treatments, some services come with age restrictions. For instance, mastitis treatment is available only to lactating women aged 18 to 49, and certain conditions like pink eye have upper age limits. It’s important for patients to review these restrictions to ensure they are eligible for the services provided.
Lackey Clinic is a faith-based nonprofit providing free and charitable healthcare to uninsured adults in Virginia. We offer free medical care, dental care, eye care, free and low-cost prescriptions, behavioral health services, diabetic education, and spiritual care.
